Looking back
Last years I enjoyed to get my flights on photo or on video. I even got myself a special equipment to make some in-flight footage. When you click 'video' in the dropdown menu above, you'll get to my video-section. In that section I'll explain something about my equipment and you can download the short paragliding clips I've made until now.
On this page you can find the photo galleries which are taken in the mountains of France and Turkey as well as at the beach in the Netherlands. I also added a compilation from Red Bull Vertigo 2004.
Grand Bornand & Annecy
The pictures below were made while I was flying in Grand Bornand, the French Alps. It has been proven to be a really great flying area. Always thermal trigger points present, good transport and beautiful scenery with the Aravis Chain and the Mont Blanc visible. If you ascend high enough you can see Lake Annecy in the distance, which is an often flown cross-country trip.
Dutch Dune Soaring
Since 2003 I went out soaring the dunes at the Dutch coast. Very enjoyable and also a nice spot to make some photographic footage.
Red Bull Vertigo 2004
In august I went to the Red Bull Vertigo acro-competition in Villeneuve (CH). The weather wasn't that good, but after all I had a real good time being around all those world-class acro-pilots and watching them exceeding their own limits. I've made some photo's which you can see below. I also made a nice video-compilation which you can download in my video-section.
